Review: NYX Round Lipstick - B52, Tea Rose, Femme

Hello Gorgeous! Here's another NYX Round Lipstick review. If you haven't seen my first review (NYX RL in Paris and Haute Melon) click here. Forgive the not-so-good quality of the photos. These are just taken from mi iPhone. I bought these lippies at Makeup Stash. Super fast transaction with Ms. Avi, btw :)

1. B52

As you can see, it looks overused already. It is my favorite of the bunch. Even my sister likes this one.. A pinkish brown color that's perfect for everyday or office look. It kinda looks different on my lips but it is darker in personal. Here's a  more decent pic wearing b52:

2. Tea Rose

 This one is also good for everyday look. A pink with a little hint of brown in it. It looks MLBB in person actually.

3. Femme

 

 I'm still in a hunt for a good orange lippy so I tried this. This is one of the orangey lippy of NYX according to other reviews that I've read. Well not exactly orange, but a red with an orange hint shade. This is somewhat darker than Haute Melon. You may not see the hint of orange in these pictures but in actual, you could see the hint of orange.

My hunt for an orange lippy is not yet done though. Haven't found the "perfect" one. Any suggestions?

I'm actually loving NYX. I will definitely try other NYX products :)

Review: NYX Round Lipstick in Paris and Haute Melon

What I love:
-The color is very pigmented
-Creamy and glides on very smoothly
-Cheap. Bought it at php 95 each. How cheap is that, ei?
-Has a very wide variety of colors to choose from

What I don't like:

-Staying power. It last for only 2-3 hours. But it will fade easily when you eat or drink.

-Not available locally. Purchased online and will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to arrive. Unless its an On Hand item. I mean, it would be good if it can be bought on the malls right?

The smell.. Its ok with me. IMHO, Paris smells like the Etude House's make up remover and Haute Melon smells nothing.. I think.. :) I read in other reviews that the smell of NYX lippies are kind of different. The smell of these babies doesn't bother me much. It's not stinky at all.

Will I repurchase?
-Yes, definitely! I will also try other shades

I'm in a hunt for an orange-y lipstick so I figured to try Haute Melon. But it's not that orange-y for me. Its more of an orange red lipstick.. It looks orange on the swatch but not on my lips. It turns to a light red color. Not the orange that I'm looking for but it's still fine with me. I'm still gonna use this one and I like this toned down orange red shade.

My original order was Tea Rose, but it was OOS so I chose Paris instead. I never regret getting this one.  It has a purple undertone and I'm lovin' this Barbie Pink color, so girly and so pink :). Most of my officemates love the shade too.
