Birthday Month Haul

These are the things I've purchased for this month. I'm happy with these items :)

Contact Lens from Executive Optical in Sandal Wood and Septo Care Solution

I've been using contacts for 3 years now and I always buy my lenses at E.O. Sandalwood is my color ever since I wear contacts. I would love to try other color next time :) Before, that contacts costs 1000+, and now its price ranges at 600-800. Maybe it was lessen because of the numerous contact lens available everywhere. I use Septo Care and its freakin' cheap! But mind you, it works really well as a solution.

Aido Lipsticks in Q and O and Maybelline Tinted Lip Balm

I'm soooo inlove with these lipsticks and lip balm. Will post a review about them soon :)

San San Age Defense Mascara

ELF All over Face Brush (picture on the top most part)

Lander Skin Protecting Vit. E Lotion (picture on the top most part)
I love this lotion! It's not sticky and it can easily be absorbed by the skin. It costs php150 for 1 liter. Super cheap for a big lotion like this, huh?

I will definitely post a review of these things really soon :)

Haul: Nail Products

I've been into nail polishes and nail art lately after watching some tutorials in You Tube. Before, I only paint my nails on special occasion and when I feel like doing so. But since I'm really bored,  I decided to paint my nails and let my imagination and creativity work.

So these are my nail products collective haul:

Caronia Sweet Summer Bliss and Caronia Touch of Tan
photo from http://www.caronia.com.ph/products.php
 Summer Fling (Coral Red)
Baby Pink (Salmon Pink)
Sun Kissed (Pumpkin Orange)
Sweet Surprise (Lemon Yellow)
On the Go (Aqua Green)
First Crush (Rich Lilac)

I only bought 4 from the collection: Summer Fling, Baby Pink, On the Go and First Crush.I'm not a fan of orange so I did not buy Sun Kissed. I also bought Touch of Tan.

Swatch + bow nail art that I'm practicing :)
Thumb - Summer Fling
Index Finger - Touch of Tan
Middle Finger - Baby Pink
Ring Finger - On the Go
Pinky - Rich Lilac

The colors are great and really perfect for summer. I used 1 coat for all except for the Baby Pink. It is kinda streaky so I used 2 coats for it to achieve a nicer look

You could check out Aya's blog for the complete collection :)

Sassy Colors Top Coat and Unbranded Glittery Pink Nail Polish

Nail Art Decor

I used the pink flower on my NOTD here. Guess what? I got 6 designs for 50 pesos! I think this is a  pretty good deal. :)

And that ends my Nail Products Haul. Have a great week ahead :)

Holy Week Haul: Scent Station and Aido Lipsticks

Black Saturday, went out with family and ate dinner at Biggs Diner in SM Sta. Rosa. (Maybe I'll be reviewing about it too) While window shopping, my urge of buying came along. HAHA!

So these are the things that I purchased:

1. C1 and C3 from Scent Station (php 100, buy 1 take 1)

I have no plans of buying any cologne or perfume because I'm totally in love with the perfume that I'm using, which is the FCUK. Until I saw this Scent Station stand in SM Sta Rosa. Just the other day, me and Jhe were discussing about the perfume that I'm using before, the Paris Hilton Just Me. He said he really miss that scent to me. I know that Scent Station have that Just Me inspired fragrance (C1) so I grabbed the opportunity to buy it. They were selling it for buy 1 take 1. Unfortunately, C1 has only 1 left. So I have to choose other scent and I chose C3. It was okay too, something flowery scent.

2. Aido Lipsticks in 9, 6 and 3

Aido Lippies in 9, 6 and 3
Aido Lipstick in no. 9
Bold lips are 'IN' this summer. I'm not a fan of orange color, I actually hate that color. But I took the chance of trying that color in make up. I looked for an orangey lippy that is not that bright and something that looks natural too, and I found it in Aido. I was in total shock when I asked the price of it. *tan-tara-ran..* It was only Php 25! O.o

It did not disappoint me at all. I'm totally loving the orange lipstick actually! So I bought other shades, the nos. 6 and 3. It was really funny and sweet for me because I bought the other 2 shades when me and Jhe went out on Easter Sunday. I even asked him if what shade is more okay. Haha! The no.3 shade is fine with me but the sheer pink (6), looked really natural to my lips. It seems like I'm not wearing a lipstick at all! And it is a no-no for me because I did not expect it to be like that in my lips.

9 (orange shade), 6 (sheer pink), and 3 (pink with a tone of brown/red)

Til my next haul :)

HAUL: Cosmetics (SanSan, Ever Bilena, Aido, Fashion 21) and a short review

My first ever haul and review, yey! :)

These were the things that I bought in the past months:

1. Gel Liner, Long Lash Mascara in black, Eyelash Curler from San San Cosmetics (HBC)

EYELASH CURLER
5 out of 5. I'm super in love with this curler! It can hold your full lashes. It is super cheap too! I t only cost Php 55. What I don't like about it is the handle, it takes much space in your make up kit.

Gel Liner
I wanted to try gel liner because I think that this is much easier to use than a liquid liner. So I've been searching for a cheap gel liner. (Why cheap and not try the high end gel liners?) My main reason is that: I'm just a beginner and I don't want to waste money on expensive gel liners. I just want to practice how to apply it and when I'm good enough, I would definitely go to those better gel liners. So when I saw this gel liner in HBC, I did not hesitate to buy it. It comes in two colors - black and brown.

PROS:
-this is okay for the first time users (like me) because you could practice putting it on until you can perfect it without wasting money because...
-it is super cheap! I bought it for php115
-it comes with a small brush which is somewhat easy to use

CONS:
-the color is not that intense
-it tends to dry out easily. I bought it last January and I just used it maybe 10-15 times ONLY and it's not that (hmm what would be the right term for it..) dewy or moist anymore compared to the first few tries that I used it.

a swatch of the gel liner. As you can see, the color is not that intense.

For that swatch, I rubbed it with my fingers but it didn't smudge. I tried to rub it with a toner and it did not smudge too. I wasn't able to get a picture of it, sorry.

OVERALL: I would give it a 3 of 5 rating. This would be very helpful for newbies, or for practicing. But I think when you are already a pro in using gel liners, you wouldn't like it.

LONG LASH MASCARA

silicon brush of the mascara

PROS:
-cheap. It ranges from Php 120-130
-easy to remove. You won't have raccoon eyes!

CONS:
-tends to clump easily

pardon my eyebags. haha! (L) curled with mascara, (R) not curled and w/o mascara
OVERALL: I'd give it a 4 of 5 rating. It lengthens my lashes fine and it can be removed easily so it is a plus for me but it clumps easily so you have to be fast in applying it on your lashes so it would not clump.

2. Aido palette and a free F21 lip gloss

I bought this palette for my graduation. I was suppose to use it in my graduation make up BUT on the last minute, I decided not to. Hmm I don't know.. I don't feel the shimmering effect of it on that day. Haha!

shimmery brown

swatch w/o flash
red lip gloss
I wasn't able to choose a good color of gloss. I bought the palette and gloss in set. There is no other available color for the lip gloss except for this red one.

3. Ever Bilena Matte Lipstick in Mauvey

EB Matte Lippies was on sale from Jan-March. Good thing I was able to purchase Mauvey before the sale ended. The original price of it was Php129, and I got it for only Php99. I love this color! It is a nude shade with a touch of pink. I used this in my graduation make up. I'm sooo in love with this shade! <3

I hope I was able to give justice to those products :) Til my next haul!
